This website collects as little as it can. If you give me your details, I use them to reply to you or to send you your report, and for nothing else. I don’t sell them, share them for marketing or add you to a mailing list.
“I” means Jason Crane, who runs tincrane Pty Ltd (“tincrane”). I handle personal information in line with the Australian Privacy Principles.
What I collect
- When you take the Service Health Check
- Your answers stay in your browser until you ask for the full report. Then I keep your name, work email, organisation (if you give it), your answers and your scores.
- When you book a call
- Your name, email and anything you tell me about the challenge, collected by Cal.com for the booking.
- When you use the contact form
- Your name, email, organisation (if you give it) and your message.
- When you browse
- Anonymous visit counts: which pages are viewed, the referring site, and rough country and device type. These can’t identify you. This site sets no cookies and uses no advertising trackers or cross-site tracking. The booking calendar is run by Cal.com, which may use its own cookies when you use it.
How I use it
- To email you your Health Check report and keep the link to it working.
- To reply to your message.
- To follow up once about your report or enquiry. If you’d rather I didn’t, just say so.
- To see, in aggregate, which pages are useful so I can improve the site.
Who else handles it
I use a few services to run the site. Each one handles your information only to provide that service to me. Some are based outside Australia, so your information may be stored or processed overseas, mainly in the United States and the European Union.
- Netlify
- Hosts the website and stores Health Check reports and form submissions.
- Resend
- Sends the report email to you and the notification email to me.
- Cal.com
- Runs the booking calendar on the homepage. When you book a call, Cal.com receives your name, email and anything you tell me about the challenge, and creates the Zoom meeting.
- Notion
- Where I keep track of enquiries and Health Check requests.
- Plausible Analytics
- Counts visits without cookies or personal data. Data is kept in the EU.
Your report link
Your report has a long, random web address that isn’t listed or indexed by search engines. Anyone who has the link can open it, so share it only with people you want to see it. I can delete a report at any time if you ask.
Storage on your device
While you take the Health Check, your progress is saved in your browser’s session storage so a page reload doesn’t lose it. It’s cleared when you close the tab and is never sent anywhere until you ask for the report.
How long I keep it
I keep enquiries and Health Check details while they’re useful for our conversation and any work that follows, and delete them when they’re not. You can ask me to delete them sooner.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete anything I hold about you. Email hello@tincrane.com and I’ll reply within 30 days, usually much sooner.
If you’re not happy with how I’ve handled your information, please tell me first so I can put it right. You can also complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner.
Apps
The Netball Game Scorer Apple Watch app doesn’t collect, store or send any personal information. Everything stays on your watch.
Changes
If I change how I handle your information, I’ll update this page and the date at the top.
